High ceilings are becoming increasingly common in new homes. To ensure optimum performance, a Hunter® 3/4 inch downrod is used to set the fan at the appropriate height. All Hunter® extension downrods are designed to perfectly match Hunter® fans in terms of fit and finish, with tapered threads for a more secure connection. The ETL listed downrod is compatible with Hunter and Casablanca fans, with the exception of the Hunter Original fan.
The downrods are crafted to complement our Ceiling Fan finishes, while the threaded connection ensures strong and stable support. For ceilings measuring 10 feet in height, a 12 inch downrod is recommended. It is important to note that these downrods are designed for indoor use only.
